Who we are

Higher Mind Publishing is a small Australian sole-trader business run by Michael. We sell digital e-books through this website. This page explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect and why

• When you buy a book: payment is handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your name, email address, payment details and order details (which book, the amount and the date), and shares your name, email and order details with us so we can send your book.
• Card details: Higher Mind Publishing never sees or stores your full card number. Stripe handles your payment under its own privacy policy.
• When you email us: we keep your email address and message so we can reply.

How we use your email

We use your email address only to deliver the books you've bought, help with your order and reply to you. We never sell, rent or trade your details to anyone.

Newsletter

You'll only get newsletter emails if you choose to sign up. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter, or by emailing us.

Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Namecheap. Like most websites, the server automatically keeps standard logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the time of your visit. These are used to keep the site secure and running smoothly, not to identify you. The site's fonts load from Google Fonts, which means Google may see your IP address when a page loads.

Keeping your information safe

We keep only what we need, for as long as we need it for orders, support and our tax records, and we take reasonable care to protect it.

Access, correction or deletion

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing highermind@proton.me. We'll reply within 30 days. Some order records may need to be kept for tax purposes. If you're not happy with how we've handled a privacy concern, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
